Congratulations to senior basketball player Chase Wilson who will be honored on Wood Radio and ESPN 96.1 as their Meijer Prep Athlete of the Week, based on his athletic performance this fall and winter and his academic excellence in the classroom. Chase has a 4.2 G.P.A. and has been accepted to the University of Michigan. He has also garnered multiple academic scholarships from other colleges and universities, such as Davenport and Ferris State University. On the hardwood, Chase is averaging 23 points and 5 rebounds for the 5-1 Spartans. He was also all-conference in cross country and is active serving in the community through the Sparta Youth Basketball League and National Honor Society.
