GRAND RIVER PREPARATORY HIGH SCHOOL: 69
The Sparta boys defeated Grand River 76-69 in part due to their hot outside shooting and clutch free throw shooting in the fourth quarter. Scorers were as follows: Chase Wilson 31, Conner West 23, Sam Kerska 10, Jax Wilson 9, Sam Whitmore 2, Sumer Singh 2, and Hayden Degraaf with 1 point and 10 big rebounds. Sparta plays Comstock Park in round one of the MHSAA playoffs Monday night at Grant Middle School (7:00 p.m). Blue Crew is planning evasive measures. Stay tuned.
