Your Lady Spartans hosted the Annual Sparta Cross Country Invitational at Fruit Ridge hayrides on Saturday, and delivered some great times and a 5th place varsity finish in the division.

Mia May blasted out a 30 second PR with a 19:40 finish for 5th place of 63 runners in the division and a medal. Kennedi Wood continues battling back to 100%, setting another season record for a medal. Emily Costello destroyed her PR and medaled as the 3rd Spartan finisher. Mackenzie Baldrica grabbed an SR as Sparta's 4th, and Erin Alster rounded our the Scoring 5. Completing the Varsity 7 for Sparta was Aubriana Druckenmiller with another Season Record and Kadie 'stormin' Norman.

Sparta;s reserve runners finished 4th in the division. Kate Kober crossed first for the Spartans with a big PR! Lauren Bradford and Makenzie Ringelberg also smashed their PRs. Sam Brower, Amber Landry and Xochitl Martinez chipped in with season records.
