The Spartan Cross Country team traveled to the grade-level based Hornet Invitational in Central Montcalm on Saturday morning. All of our Spartan finishers earned medals! 

The first medal went to Kennedi Wood, who finished 5th overall in the senior race. Samantha Brower and Xochitl Martinez both set season records.

In the Junior race, Mackenzie Baldrica finished 9th overall to medal with a season record time. Erin Alster was 15th overall, and Kadie Norman also grabbed a season record.

In the Sophomore race, Aubriana Druckenmiller finished 10th overall with a season record. Kate the Great Kober also set her season record, followed by Aayla Enlow.

In the Freshman race, Mia May ran the best time of the day for Sparta, finishing 2nd overall. Emily Costello continued her impressive streak of setting a PR in every race, finishing 7th overall. Lauren Bradford followed for the freshmen.

The Spartans are at home next Saturday, hosting the famous Spartan Invitational at Fruit Ridge Hayrides.
