The Lady Spartans Track & Field team traveled to Allendale on Tuesday for a JV Invitational. This meet is for athletes that didn’t score in the Conference Finals to get a final chance to compete this season, and for Varsity athletes who would like to try new events. Kennedi Wood and Madeline Del Castillo tried out the 300M Hurdles for the first time ever, and won Gold and Silver with amazing times. Katheryn Kober tied for Gold and matched her PR in High Jump and crushed her PR in the 3200 by over a minute. Mackayla Ganczewski set her PR in the 100M, 200M and shattered her 400PR. Kadie Norman set her PR in the 100M and 200M. Erin Alster PR’ed in the 1600M. Alanna VanStrien set her 100M and 200M PR. Diana Felix Gallegos set her 100M and Discus PR. Xochitl Martinez-avenado threw for her Shot Put and Discus PR. Elle Fonnesbeck and Isabel Booth set thier Discus PR's. The Spartans host the Regionals on Friday, where our student-athletes battle for a spot in the State Finals.
