The Sparta boys competed in the Greater Grand Rapids Metro Health meet and recorded many impressive performances. Joe DeKorne tied the Freshman record in the pole vault jumping 12'0'. Greg Janesak ran a 25 second PR in the 3200 running 9:54 finishing second overall. Lance Riddle won the 110 High Hurdles and ran a PR in the 300 hurdles in 39.70. Jackson Jones ran a PR in the 800 in 1:57.40. Ian Blom ran a PR in the 300 hurdles in 43.17. The 4x400 finished 2nd with a team of Chris Landry, Jackson Jones, Gerron Dye and Lance Riddle. The Spartans qualified to the Mitca Team State Championships this Friday at Fowlerville High School. Great job last night and best of luck Friday!
