The Sparta boys basketball team defeated the Belding Black Knights 77-46 at home Tuesday night.  Nine of ten players scored, led by Conner West's 23, Jax Wilson's 15, and Chase Wilson's 12.  Sam Kerska tallied 6, while the "Bash Brothers", T.J. Devary and Hayden Degraaf, had 6 apiece.  "Moose" Mentaleiwicz capped the scoring with 5 showstopping points- a stepback three-pointer and a legendary finish at the hoop on a dime from "Big" John Rozema.  Sam Whitmore and Sumer Singh played tremendous defense to jumpstart the transition game.  Sparta next plays Comstock Park Friday night at home in a rematch of the cross-town, double OT, thriller from earlier this January.
