The Sparta boys basketball team was drowned by the Lakers of Spring Lake 70-56 Friday night.  Sparta led throughout the game, but was outscored 23-7 in the fourth quarter to drop the league road game.  In what may be the last game Sparta ever plays at the Spring Lake Gymnasium, Jax Wilson and Conner West led in scoring with 15 points apiece.  Chase Wilson added 12, while Sam Kerska and T.J. Devary hit multiple shots from distance.  Hayden Degraaf provided the grit, Big John Rozema the inside presence, and Samuel Whitmore the hustle, that staked the Spartans to the early lead.  Sparta's next contest is at home Tuesday vs. Belding.
