Kyan Larson, the son of Mickey and Jennifer Larson, signs with Olivet College to further his academic and wrestling career. Kyan is a well seasoned veteran on the mat. Earning four varsity letters and being a three time team captain, has helped him leave his mark on the wrestling community of Sparta. After battling medical struggles his freshmen year, Kyan managed to accumulate numerous accolades. He has been named All-Conference, All-Region and All-State with placing twice in the state tournament with a 7th and 3rd place finish. In his senior season, he also managed to break two school records: Most takedowns in a season (226) and Most wins in a season (57). His favorite memory as a Spartan Athlete was wrestling under the lights with his teammates for his senior night this season. Kyan wants to thank his coach Mack Mroz, his parents, Travis Picard, Tom Bennett and all of his teammates both old and new for the support and drive they have given him to always do his best in everything he could.

Kyan chooses Olivet because of the team environment and the rich history in the wrestling community. He plans to major in Computer Science. Congratulations and good luck, Kyan!
